Taking payments at a small clinic usually ends up in a notebook and in the memory of whoever was at the front desk. Balancing the day becomes a job for the evening.
With the till module, every payment is recorded where the session already is: who paid, how much, how and which physiotherapist saw them. At the end of the day the sums are done, and what each professional took appears in the reports without sharing anything out by hand.
Packs go into the accounts as what they are: they're sold from the till itself, charged once, and the sessions they use aren't charged again.
Sessions paid by a health insurer have their own route: when you charge them with the insurer's method, a visit voucher comes out, which isn't an invoice, and the till keeps track of what each insurer owes until you mark it as settled.
And for the front desk, the same till on a tablet: counter mode, full screen, with tiles for sessions and packs, an on-screen keypad, change worked out for you and the receipt that comes out on its own when you take payment. It installs on the tablet like an app and prints with any printer the device has set up.
How it works
- Payment is taken from the session itself, without opening anything else, and each line records who saw the patient.
- Each payment keeps its method, and the receipt is given to the patient printed, by WhatsApp or by email.
- Packs are sold from the till and their sessions are deducted automatically.
- Insurer visits come out with a voucher and go into each insurer's outstanding account.
- The day's close balances what was taken by each method, and previous closes are kept for reference.
- Reports show how the month is going with that data, not with estimates.
