Pilates classes, full to the last place

More and more physiotherapy clinics run classes: Pilates, therapeutic exercise, back school, pelvic floor. And almost all of them run them outside the calendar, in a notebook or a WhatsApp group, because their software only knows about one person per hour.

In ClaudIA a class is a session that takes several people at once. On the treatment you say how many fit and, in its timetable, which days and at what time it runs —Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 with the same physiotherapist, for example—. From then on the class exists even if nobody has signed up, and ClaudIA offers exactly those times by WhatsApp, by phone and on the booking page.

When offering it, it says how many places are left, and when it's full it says so: «that class is full». It never says who's going or how many people there are. And because each participant has their own appointment, each gets their own reminder and cancels only their own, without touching the rest of the group.

The monthly fee is handled as a session pack that expires after a month: it goes down on its own when the person comes, comes back if they're marked as not having come, and gives notice when it runs out.

How it works

  1. On the treatment you say how many people are seen at once; more than one makes it a class.
  2. In its timetable you set the days, the time and the professional who runs it.
  3. ClaudIA only offers those times and says how many places are left; the database prevents one person too many from getting in.
  4. The calendar's Classes tab shows each class of the day with its attendance, who's coming and who cancelled.
  5. A month without the class is paused by switching off its line in the timetable, and switched back on with one click.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at ten, eight places
The clinic sets up its Pilates class for eight people, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00. One Sunday night someone asks on WhatsApp; ClaudIA offers Tuesday and says there are two places left. By Thursday the class is full and whoever asks is offered the following Tuesday. The physiotherapist opens the calendar and sees «8/8» without having answered a single message.
