Not every clinic is coming from other software. Many keep their patients in the clinic phone's contacts, and typing in two hundred records by hand isn't an option.
The contacts are exported to a file, uploaded to the dashboard and only the patients are ticked: suppliers, the bank and the treatment-table technician stay out. Records that already existed aren't touched, and phone numbers are tidied automatically so WhatsApp and sessions can find each person.
Whoever is brought in this way gets no marketing messages from ClaudIA until that person writes to the clinic or has a session, as the law requires. Session reminders do go out, because they aren't advertising.
How it works
- In Patients you press the import contacts button and the dashboard gives step-by-step instructions for your phone.
- You upload the file and the whole contact list appears unticked, with a search box.
- You tick only the patients and import them in one click.
- If you're coming from other practice software, you can also bring them in from a spreadsheet.
A clinic starting on a Monday
The clinic has kept its patients on the phone for years. On Monday it exports the contacts, ticks the 180 patients and leaves out the suppliers. That same afternoon, when a patient writes on WhatsApp, ClaudIA already recognises them by name.
