Many patients don't type: they send a voice note from the bus, or a photo with a «can this be seen this week?». If the assistant only understands text, those messages go unanswered just when the person was keenest to book.
ClaudIA listens to the voice note, transcribes it and replies normally; the transcript stays in the dashboard so the team knows what was said without playing the audio.
With photos it applies a clinic's rules. If they show a part of the body, ClaudIA doesn't assess what it sees, doesn't say what it might be and doesn't recommend anything: it explains that the physiotherapist will look at that in the consultation and offers a first assessment. If the photo is of something else, it doesn't comment on it and steers the conversation to the appointment.
How it works
- The patient sends a voice note: ClaudIA transcribes it and responds to what they're asking.
- If they send a photo of the area they're asking about, ClaudIA offers a first assessment with the physiotherapist, without giving an opinion on the image.
- If a warning sign appears in the message, ClaudIA doesn't book: it tells them to see their GP and alerts the team.
- If a voice note or photo can't be opened, it kindly asks for the message in writing: nobody is left without an answer.
